Free Movie Festival Returns To Tucson With Family Favorites All Month

LOFT KIDS FEST is back at The Loft Cinema with free weekend screenings, games and popcorn running through June 28.

TUCSON, AZ — Tucson families, your summer movie plans just got a lot easier — and a lot cheaper.

LOFT KIDS FEST is back this summer, bringing 11 days of free movies, games, popcorn and prizes to The Loft Cinema and Himmel Park.

The series kicked off with an outdoor movie party at Himmel Park on Friday, and will now move inside The Loft Cinema for weekend morning screenings every Saturday and Sunday through June 28.

Doors open at 9:15 a.m. each day, with pre-show games and activities hosted by the crew from Mildred & Dildred Toy Store. Films start at 10 a.m. Every screening also includes a short animated film from somewhere around the world — a fun little surprise for kids and parents alike.
