TUCSON, AZ —Local detectives are asking the public for information relating to the discovery of a man's body on Friday near the Tucson International Airport. The body of 32-year-old Gabriel Orduno was found by a passerby in a desert area just west of South Country Club Road and East Old Vail Road, police said. The discovery was reported to the Tucson Airport Authority Police Department (TAAPD). TAAPD officers were joined at the scene by Tucson Police Department (TPD) officers and members of the City of Tucson Fire Department, according to authorities. Police did not list a cause of death for Orduno, but said the investigation remains active. Anyone with information about the crime is asked to call 911 or 88-CRIME (520-882-7463), the latter number allows callers to remain anonymous.
