Pima County Corrections Officer Brought Drugs Into Jail: Sheriff
The Pima County Sheriff's Department says that 27-year-old Martin Lopez was arrested after a week-long probe.

TUCSON, AZ – A corrections officer with Pima County is under arrest, charged with smuggling drugs into the Pima County Adult Detention Center. Martin Lopez is charged with transportation of narcotics and promoting prison contraband.
The Pima County Sheriff's Department says that they arrested Lopez after a one-week investigation. The probe started after the department received a tip.
The sheriff's office says that Lopez met with an undercover officer to arrange a shipment of heroin and methamphetamine to an inmate for $150.

Lopez has been a corrections officer for the past 11 months.
