Pima County Public Library Offering Grab-N-Go Super Snacks and Grab-N-Go Monthly Family Food Packs

A contact-free service, the snacks are available Monday through Friday from 3 to 4 pm at 11 libraries.

(Tucson, AZ) Do you need or know someone who needs food assistance? The Library is proud to offer Grab-N-Go Super Snacks and Grab-N-Go Monthly Family Food Packs!

Grab-N-Go Super Snacks are provided in partnership with the Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona, the Arizona Department of Education, and the USDA. Snacks are available for anyone under the age 18. A contact-free service, the snacks are available Monday through Friday from 3 to 4 pm at 11 libraries:

  • Eckstrom-Columbus Library
  • El Pueblo Library
  • Flowing Wells Library
  • Joel D. Valdez Main Library
  • Martha Cooper Library
  • Mission Library
  • Sam Lena-South Tucson Library
  • Santa Rosa Library
  • Southwest Library
  • Valencia Library
  • Woods Memorial Library

We understand that schedules vary. If you're unable to make it between 3 and 4 pm, please swing by anyway. We will do our best throughout the day—based on availability—to provide snacks to any person age 18 or younger.

Grab-N-Go Family Food Packs—a new program at the library—are made possibly by The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP). This federal program is for people who need help getting enough food for their families. The program is meant to supplement what you have, and there is no cost to you. Families, seniors, and individuals are all welcome. It's easy to participate! People who meet low-income guidelines can receive food bags at the Library. There are no forms and no hassles—just come to a participating library once a month to receive yours. Family Food Packs are being offered at 3 libraries:

  • Eckstrom-Columbus Library
  • Murphy-Wilmot Library
  • Valencia Library
