PODS Tucson Jumps into 'Pack the PODS Container" Donation Drive

PODS® Tucson asks the Tucson community to help collect gently used donations for the Salvation Army Rehab Centers of Tucson.

With the Spring cleaning season upon us, Tucson radio stations, ESPN Tucson and 94.9 MIXfm will team up with PODS Tucson for the second annual Spring ‘Pack the PODS Container’ donation drive. Beginning March 18, a PODS container will serve as a collection point as each station will see which one can generate the most donations.

Residents are asked to donate their gently used clothes and household items to benefit the men and women who have lost the ability to provide for themselves. The Salvation Army offers residential housing, work, as well as group and individual therapy to help individuals in need re-enter society and return to gainful employment.

“As a part of the Tucson community, it’s very important to us that we help out those less fortunate,” said Mike Smith, Vice President of Operations for PODS Tucson. “This drive a great way to bring together residents and collect donations with a little friendly competition.”
