Possibly Armed Man Puts Picture Rocks Elementary In Lockdown
The school was in lockdown for a bit while the sheriff's office investigated. In the end, no one was arrested and the lockdown was lifted.
TUCSON, AZ – A man who was believed to have a weapon sent Picture Rocks Elementary School into lockdown for about a hour on Friday morning. The man was seen a few blocks from the school.
it was close enough that the school – in the Marana Unified School District – implemented emergency procedures and went into lockdown.
The Pima County Sheriff's Office sent a couple of deputies to the area. When the all-clear was given, the lockdown was lifted.
