Powerball Numbers, Saturday July 29: How Many Winners In Arizona?

Did you play $2 POWERBALL? over 50,000 winners will take home at least the cost of a ticket. Did you play?

Did you play Powerball this week? There were no tickets sold with all six numbers in Saturday evening's drawing of the multi-state Powerball lottery and the estimated jackpot for Saturday's drawing is expected to grow to $261 million.

No ticket with five numbers, but missing the Powerball number, was sold. Such a ticket would have been worth slightly above $361,000.

The numbers drawn were 1, 28, 40, 45, 48 and the Powerball number was 12. The estimated jackpot was $239 million.

Didn't win? That's okay. There are lots of other prizes if you matched even one number.

The odds of matching all five numbers and the Powerball number is 1 in about 293 million, according to the Powerball website. The overall chance of winning a prize is 1 in 24.87.

The Powerball game is played in 44 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and U.S. Virgin Islands.
