The Screening Room In Tucson Reopens In April: Report

The Arizona Daily Star says that the theater will reopen in April for the Arizona International Film Festival.

TUCSON, AZ – The Screening Room is coming back. The downtown theater, which closed abruptly last summer, will be back open in April.

The theater, which was started in 1989 to assist independent filmmakers, became home to festivals like the Arizona International Film Festival, the Tucson Terror Festival, and the Arizona Underground Film Festival.

The Arizona Daily Star reports that the theater will reopen on April 18th for the 27th annual Arizona International Film Festival.
