Sean Miller Says That He's Not Going Anywhere

TUCSON, AZ – Sean Miller says that he is not going anywhere. The Wildcats then went out and beat Stanford, guaranteeing themselves at least a part of the Pac-12 title.

At an afternoon press conference on Thursday, Miller said he hasn't paid any player, family member of a player, or any representative of a payer any money to get them to play at Arizona.

An ESPN report Friday said that the coach had been caught on a FBI wiretap discussing the possibility of a $100,000 payment to help lock in the commitment of DeAndre Ayton to play for the Wildcats.

The network is standing by it's report.

While Miller denied making any payment, ESPN only said that he had "discussed" a payment not actually having made one.

He had been benched from coaching last weekend' game against Oregon and assistant coach Lorenzo Romar has been running the team in his absence.

The scandal has cost the team at least one recruit.

Shaquille O'Neal's son, Shareef, who had committed to Arizona, changed his mind and will play for UCLA.
