Search For Missing Tucson Woman With Down Syndrome In 6th Day
The search for a missing Tucson woman with Down syndrome continued Tuesday with multiple agencies focusing on the Picture Rocks area.

TUCSON, AZ — The search for a missing Tucson woman with Down syndrome and other disabilities entered its sixth day Tuesday as authorities focused on the Picture Rocks area. Multiple agencies are assisting in the search for Sara Galloway, 38, the Pima County Sheriff’s Department said.
Galloway was last seen around 8 a.m. on Thursday, March 21, at her home near Massingale and Sanderio Roads. Authorities said she is 4 feet, 11 inches tall, weighs 170 pounds, and has brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a red shirt, gray sweater and dark-colored pants.
Anyone with information about Galloway is urged to call 911.

Authorities are searching the Picture Rocks area, both on the ground and from the air. U.S. Customs and Border Patrol agents have deployed helicopters and canines. Other agencies include the National Park Service, Southern Arizona Mounted Search and Rescue, multiple search and rescue teams from surrounding areas, and neighbors and volunteers.
Galloway’s family said she functions at the level of an 8-year-old. Authorities said that she recently has had delusions of involvement in romantic relationships and that she is wanted by police, which could make her more difficult to find, the Arizona Daily Star reported.

Authorities said her interpersonal skills are limited and she isn’t aware of her surroundings. She also has no identification or access to money, social media or a cellphone.
