Spirit Halloween Is Back In Tucson: See All 8 Store Locations

TUCSON, AZ — The unofficial sign that Halloween season is approaching has arrived: Spirit Halloween stores are popping up across Tucson.

The seasonal retailer is returning to empty storefronts throughout the Tucson area, with eight locations planned for 2026. Some stores are already open, while others are expected to open in August.

Spirit Halloween said it will open a record 1,575 stores nationwide this year, surpassing its 2025 total of 1,546 locations and 2024 total of 1,535.

In the Tucson area, shoppers can find Spirit Halloween locations at:

• Ajo Plaza South Tucson — 502 W. Ajo Way, Suite 130 (former Dollar Tree) — open
• Broadway Crossing Tucson AZ — 5355 E. Broadway Blvd. (former Davis Kitchens) — open
• Tucson Premium Outlets — 6401 Marana Center Blvd., Suite 700 (former Saks Off 5th) — open
• Oro Valley Marketplace AZ — 11955 N. Oracle Road (former Big Lots) — open
• Spirit Halloween Grant 1st — 605 E. Grant Road, Suite 101 (former Advance Auto Parts) — opening in August
• Spirit Halloween Tucson Mall AZ — 605 E. Wetmore Road (former Bealls) — opening in August
• Spirit Halloween Tanque Verde SC — 7025 E. Tanque Verde Road (former Big Lots) — opening in August
• Spirit Halloween Tucson East — 2520 S. Harrison Road (former Big Lots) — opening in August

Inside the stores, shoppers can expect Halloween costumes for children and adults, along with decorations, accessories and the retailer's popular collection of animatronics.

"At our Arizona stores, you'll find a treasure trove of costumes for everyone in the family," Spirit Halloween said. "Whether you're searching for a glamorous women's ensemble, a dashing men's outfit, or an adorable kids' costume, we have it all."

The retailer also highlighted its selection of Halloween decorations and "spine-chilling animatronics" expected to return for the season.

The seasonal stores also bring temporary jobs to the area. Spirit Halloween typically hires tens of thousands of seasonal employees nationwide to staff its stores, including sales associates and store managers.

People interested in seasonal positions can apply through Spirit Halloween's hiring website or by texting "Reaper" to 85000. As of Aug. 4, more than 200 Spirit Halloween jobs were listed in Arizona.

Spirit Halloween stores typically operate from late summer through early November before the pop-up locations disappear until the next Halloween season.
