Tucson Festival Of Books: What You Need To Know

From Saturday morning through Sunday evening: readings, signings, food, panels, and a free concer by a rock band whose members are authors.

TUCSON, AZ – Instead of curling up on the couch with a good book, this is the weekend to head to the Tucson Festival of Books. From 9:30 a.m. through 5:30 p.m., some of the world's most famous writers will be calling Tucson home.

Saturday night there will be a free concert by The Rock Bottom Remainders, a rock band whose members are all famous writers. Dave Barry, Alan Zweibel, Mitch Albom, Scott Turow, Amy Tan, and Mary Karr are expected to be onstage.

Parking shouldn't be a problem as there are plenty of free spaces available.
