Tucson To get New Arcade Bar Friday
The 21-plus joint will house a full bar alongside old favorites like NBA Jam, Frogger and Galaga.

TUCSON, AZ — Tucsonans will have a new place to loosen up and get into some nostalgic gaming at Phoenix-based Cobra Arcade Bar's second location in downtown Tucson. The arcade bar is opening Friday, June 29.
Once home to JunXion Bar, the 63 E. Congress St. spot will feature over 50 arcade games and pinball machines on two stories, according to the Arizona Daily Star. If you're into NBA Jam, Frogger, Street Fighter II and the classic Galaga.
Ariel Bracamonte, Cobra's founder and co-owner, is originally from Tucson. “I was born in Tucson. I have family there. Tucson has a really good feel to it. The minute I opened Phoenix, I wanted to do Tucson," he said

The Star reports the space is meant for an adult crowd, at 21-plus. They plan to make the place into something of a club on the weekends, with local DJ sets.
