Tucson Judge Declares Mistrial In Double Murder Case
The jury hearing the case against Brian Ferry could not reach a verdict. He was accused of killing two people looking to buy a motorcycle.

TUCSON, AZ – Fifteen years later there is still no answer to who killed Charles Russell and Catherine Nelson. The two had arrived in Tucson from Phoenix on February 2, 2002 to buy a motorcycle.
They were never seen again.
Four days later, they were reported missing when they didn't show up for work.

The following day, Tucson police found their truck in the parking lot of a church by 22nd Street and 6th Avenue. There were signs of foul play.
And that's where the case stood for years. Leads were developed and finally, on January 28, 2015, Tucson police arrested 44-year-old Brian Ferry and charged him with their murders.

On Friday, Pima County Judge Kenneth Lee declared a mistrial after the jury couldn't reach a verdict.
The county attorney has not yet decided whether to re-try the case.
Both sides will be back in court on February 21.
