Tucson Radio Stations to Participate in 'Pack the PODS Container'

To kick-off the giving season, local Tucson radio stations, 106.3 the Groove and 94.9 MIXfm will encourage residents to donate their gently used items for the ‘Pack the PODS Container’ donation drive. Beginning Oct. 8, PODS Tucson will team up with each station to collect donated items to benefit the Salvation Army Rehab Centers of Tucson.

PODS Tucson will provide PODS containers to the Salvation Army Rehab centers on North Oracle Road and East Tanque Verde. The centers offer residential housing, work, group and individual therapy, all in a clean, wholesome environment that allows rehab residents prepare to re-enter society and return to gainful employment.

“This donation drive is an amazing opportunity for the Tucson community to come together and help those in need,” said Mike Smith, Vice President of Operations for PODS Tucson. “The Salvation Army is a wonderful non-profit and PODS feels honored to help them each year.”

The public is encouraged to come out and drop off gently used clothing and household items into the safe and secure PODS containers during the following dates and locations:
