Tucson Radio Stations Seek Redemption in the 'Pack the PODS Container' Donation Drive

Tucson radio station, 106.3 the Groove will seek redemption against 94.9 MIXfm for third annual ‘Pack the PODS Container’ donation drive. Throughout October, they will team up with PODS of Tucson to see which station can generate the most donations by asking residents to donate their gently used clothes and household items to benefit the Salvation Army Rehab Centers of Tucson.

The services that PODS of Tucson is providing will help save the rehab centers thousands of dollars in moving and storage logistics costs. The centers offer residential housing, work, and group and individual therapy, all in a clean, wholesome environment. The care the rehab residents receive prepares them to re-enter society and return to gainful employment.

“The Tucson community is important to PODS so we really enjoy taking part in a donation drive that does a lot for our community and its residents,” said Mike Smith, Vice President of Operations for PODS Tucson. “This drive is also a fun way to collect donations with a little friendly competition.”

The public is encouraged to come out and drop off gently used clothing and household items into the safe and secure PODS containers during the following dates and locations:
