Tucson Trash Service On Juneteenth: What Residents Should Expect

Tucson residents will see no change in trash or recycling pickup on Juneteenth, while city offices close Friday.

TUCSON, AZ — Tucson residents will not see any changes to residential trash and recycling pickup when the city observes Juneteenth on Friday.

According to the city, all residential customers will continue to receive trash and recycling service on their regular schedule that day.

The city also said the Los Reales Sustainability Campus and landfill services will be open Friday.

Collection service will run as usual, but Tucson city offices will be closed in observance of the holiday. Residents who need help from Environmental Services Customer Service won’t be able to reach staff in person that day.
