Tucson Unified School District Plans Two School Safety Forums
The Tucson Unified School District plans two school safety forums – Wednesday and Monday. And if you can't make it, you can watch online.

TUCSON, AZ – The massacre in Parkland, Florida may be receding on the calendar but it is still front and center for many students, parents, and teachers. The Tucson Unified School District is aware of this and has scheduled two community forums to address school safety and related issues.
The first one will be Wednesday night from 6 p.m. through 8 p.m.at Cholla High School on West Starr Pass Boulevard.
That will be followed on Monday night from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Sahuaro High School on North Camino Seco.

The district says that the forums will address:
- Concerns regarding the gun violence that continues to occur on campuses across the United States.
- How the district prepares for emergencies.
- Questions we receive when school threats occur.
- How we engage local agencies threats before/during/after such instances.
Representatives from the district, law enforcement and the community will answer questions and concerns.
