Tucson Weather: Damaging Winds, Dust Storms Possible Saturday
In addition to temperatures reaching 108 degrees, forecasters say strong winds could produce dust storms in areas of Pima, Pinal counties.

TUCSON, AZ — Keep your eyes on the sky, Tucson: Saturday will bring not only oppressively hot temperatures to the Pima County area, but also the possibility for severe storms, damaging winds and blowing dust.
Strong thunderstorms are expected to develop over the mountains of eastern Arizona on Saturday and move west-southwest across most of southeast Arizona by Saturday afternoon or evening, according to a National Weather Service forecast.
The storms are expected to affect southeast Pinal and Pima counties. Residents in those areas can expect strong, potentially damaging winds reaching 50 mph as well as the possibility of dust storms.

The storms are not expected to produce much rain, forecasters said.
On top of that, the high temperature in Tucson is expected to hit 108 degrees Saturday.
