Tucson Weekend Weather: Hot, Dry, Windier Sunday

We can expect more of the same this weekend, and there's an air quality alert due to high ozone levels.

TUCSON, AZ — We can expect a hot, sunny weekend with mostly calm winds in Phoenix, according to the National Weather Service. High temperatures will near 100, and lows will be in the high 60s and low 70s.

Sunday will be windier than the rest of the weekend, with winds up to 16 mph. The winds should die down before night.

The National Weather Service also issued an air quality alert, warning of high ozone levels in the air. They urge residents to avoid using gas-powered vehicles and equipment if possible and to limit outdoor activity.
