Willcox High Substitute Teacher Subject Of Criminal Probe
The district informed parents that a substitute teacher at Willcox High is accused of sending inappropriate texts to students.

WILLCOX, AZ – A substitute teacher at Willcox High School has been banned from district property while he is the subject of a criminal probe. The district sent a note home saying that Jermaine Waddy is accused of sending inappropriate text messages, pictures, and videos to students.
"The Willcox Department of Public Safety was immediately contacted," Superintendent Kevin Davis wrote to parents."The safety and well-being of our students is our top priority. As a result of the allegations, the District has also been conducting its own internal investigation.
"Mr. Waddy will no longer be employed by the District as a substitute or in any other capacity and has been banned from District property."
