• Ordinance No. 1455 (City of Winslow) (tribunenewsnow.com) — Winslow's City Council has approved Ordinance 1455, granting Arizona Public Service a utility easement across city property so it can build and maintain electrical and telecommunications infrastructure. City leaders are authorized to sign and record the easement with Navajo County, meaning the project can now move forward from Winslow City Hall on East Third Street.

The case, still working toward court, could test whether prosecutors pursue felony or misdemeanor endangerment and highlights how 911 calls, not cameras, protect drivers on this rural stretch near Winslow.
