🌱 Centennial MS Completes RC Track + Local Jobs In Yuma

Here are the top three stories today in Yuma:

  1. Centennial Middle School has finished its new RC track for its radio-controlled cars, which is designed to enhance the RC class curriculum. The track was funded by Youth Alive, an organization with a mission of enhancing schools. Centennial started its RC program at the beginning of the year so the new track is a great expansion for the students. (KYMA)
  2. Are you on the job hunt? Even though unemployment remains high across the state, many local companies are still looking to hire people in and around the Yuma area. Regardless of whether you are looking for full- or part-time work, Patch has created a list of the latest job openings in the area. (Yuma Patch)
  3. Six employees from Yuma County have been nominated for the 2021 Employee of the Year, and another three employees have been nominated for the 2021 Superior Court Employee of the Year Awards sponsored by the Yuma County Board of Supervisors. The County will also decide who the 2021 Safety Excellence Award recipient will be out of a field of five nominees. These programs recognize employees for providing exceptional public service to the citizens of Yuma County. The nominees will be featured during the Regular Session of the Yuma County Board of Supervisors at 9:00 a.m., Monday, Apr. 4, and the winners will be announced at the Regular Session of the Yuma County Board of Supervisors Meeting at 9:00 a.m., Monday, Apr. 18.
