  2. There is a dangerous social media trend called the #OrbeezChallenge that has swept through the nation, including Yuma. On Sunday, Mar. 20 at approximately 11:29 p.m., the Yuma Police Department received multiple calls in reference to subjects shooting unknown projectiles out of a dark blue Toyota Corolla. The callers were victims who had been struck by these projectiles. The vehicle was located by officers and stopped in the 1300 block of S. 4th Avenue. 3. The City of Yuma invites you to celebrate Arbor Day by planting new trees at Smucker Park on Thursday, Mar. 24, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Arizona Public Service (APS) volunteers will be on-site to hand out free wildflower seed packets developed specifically for the Yuma community.
