• Burn bans being lifted in the Twin Lakes area (ktlo.com) — Outdoor burning is now allowed again in Sharp County after the Ash Flat Fire Department announced the countywide burn ban was lifted as of October 2. Residents in and around Ash Flat can resume burning but are urged to follow all local and state rules and continue using caution, as other nearby cities may still have their own restrictions.
