Bella Vista teen pleads guilty to sexually assaulting two girls, placed on probation (nwahomepage.com) — A Bella Vista teenager has been sentenced to 10 years of probation and required sex offender registration after pleading guilty to two counts of second-degree sexual assault involving two girls. The case, investigated by Bella Vista and Gravette police, originally involved rape charges and disturbing video evidence shared among local students, with two other teens also facing related consequences.
4. TaylorMade fitting event coming to Bella Vista (nwaonline.com) — Bella Vista golfers can sign up now for a TaylorMade Tour Fitter Experience coming to Tanyard Creek Practice Facility on Oct. 3, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. For a $75 registration fee, attendees get tour-level club fitting, on-site custom building, and expert advice, and you don't need to be a POA member to participate.
5. Dr. Joel Jones - (arkadelphian.com) — Bella Vista is mourning Dr. Joel P. Jones, a retired dentist, Army veteran, and active Rotary member who passed away September 6. After moving to Bella Vista in 2004, he embraced local service, outdoor life, and volunteering at the Bella Vista Animal Shelter. A memorial service is set for September 12 in Bentonville, with donations encouraged to the shelter or a scholarship fund.
