- The Arbor Day Foundation has named Bentonville a 2021 Tree City USA. This marks the 24th consecutive year that the city has been bestowed with this honor. The recognition is for having a tree board, a tree care ordinance, an annual community forestry budget of at least $2 per capita, and for observing Arbor Day. (Press Release Desk)
- Over 12o different vendors from over 15 different states were at Bentonville's Vintage Market Days. The event was this weekend at the Benton County Fairgrounds. - Officials with the City of Bentonville are currently reviewing their options regarding the dam at Lake Bella Vista. A Wednesday ruling by the Arkansas Court of Appeals gave the city the authority to remove or repair the lake's dam. The ruling was the result of a May 2019 lawsuit brought against Cooper Realty Investments and the Bentonville/Bella Vista Trailblazers Association. (Northwest Arkansas Democrat-Gazette)
