  1. The City of Bentonville is hosting its 23rd annual spring tree giveaway next month. Around 500 trees will be available for residents to take home and help improve the physical appearance and visual character of the city. The giveaway will be held Saturday, Apr. 23 at the City of Bentonville's Municipal Complex from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. (5 News)
  2. The Children's Advocacy Center of Benton County welcomed county officials for a tour of its facilities on Thursday. During the tour, staff explained how the center provides a safe place for child abuse victims and their families. Prosecuting Attorney Nathan Smith applauded the center's "pro-active approach" to help eliminate trauma to children and their families after a report of abuse. (KNWA)
  3. Governor Asa Hutchinson discussed computer science education for Bentonville students during a National Governors Association conference on Thursday. Hutchison was joined by Tennessee Governor Bill Lee, who also reinforced the need to help students develop computer science skills. "If you have that access to broadband, and you know coding and computer science, you can work for any company in the world," Hutchison said. (KNWA)
