- Josh Pierson, a deputy with the Benton County Sheriff's Office, died Thursday after a battle with COVID-19, according to a GoFundMe post. Benton County Coroner Daniel Oxford confirmed Pierson's COVID-related death on Friday. Pierson, 39, was from Rogers. (Northwest Arkansas Democrat-Gazette)
- Bentonville Heart Lites kicks off the holiday season with help from the community. Earlier this month, Mark Valentine fell off the ladder in front of his home. He was setting up the display but ended up with 10 broken ribs and a collapsed lung. According to his wife, he is now off the ventilator, awake, and in stable condition. (4029tv)
