  1. NWA Corgi, a local dog lovers' group, will be participating in Bentonville's downtown Christmas parade Saturday, Dec. 11 for the fourth year in a row. The group will be walking their corgis and they are inviting dog owners to walk with them for free even if they do not own a corgi. (5newsonline.com)

According to a press release from ArDOT, construction to build the new Interstate 49 Bella Vista Bypass interchange with Highway 71 in Bentonville will require various lane closures at the interchange. Traffic will be controlled by signage, construction barrels, and police enforcement. Watch for warning signs and safety personnel during the work. (KNWA)
  3. A Pea Ridge man was sentenced Thursday to life imprisonment after being found guilty of drugging and raping a woman. John Faulkner, 47, was charged as a habitual offender with rape, tampering, and the introduction of a controlled substance into the body of another person. (Arkansas Online)
