Here are the top stories in Bentonville today:

  1. The Bentonville School Board is changing the method by which members are elected. In its new process, five members will be chosen by zones and two will be chosen by all school district voters. For the past decade, each of the board's seven members has represented a certain geographic zone. The switch to having two at-large members means all district voters will have a say in electing three of the seven board members, instead of just one. (Arkansas Online)
  2. The Bentonville community is rallying together after a local man fell off a ladder while putting up Christmas lights. Mark Valentine is currently in the hospital while community members are helping to support his family and finish his dazzling light display. (KNWA)
