City Of Bentonville: Street Closure Planned For South Of Bentonville Public Library

The city block south of 405 South Main Street, adjacent to Bentonville Public Library.

Bentonville, Ark... On Saturday, October 23, a few downtown streets will be temporarily closed midafternoon for Bentonville Public Library’s OZ Kids® Fat Tire Criterium & Fall Fest.Location: The city block south of 405 South Main Street, adjacent to Bentonville Public Library.
Specific Streets and Closure Times:
1:30 PM – 7PM

  • SE 4th Street

3 PM – 5:30 PM

  • SE 4th Street to SE 3rd Street (on Main Street)
  • SE 3rd Street to SE A Street
  • SE 3rd Street to SE 4th Street (on SE A Street)

Primary roads will reopen as soon as the last cyclist comes through, or at 5:30 PM, whichever comes first.

Race Course: the race course begins and finishes on South Main Street between SE 3rd & SE 4th streets, proceeds east on SE 3rd Street, continues south on SE A Street and continues west on SE 4th street then finishes on South Main.

Volunteers wearing bright-colored vests and Bentonville Police Officers will be positioned at key intersections and cross streets to direct traffic around the route and to assist cars in crossing streets where appropriate. The Bentonville Fire Department will be along the route as well.

The street closure was approved by the City of Bentonville Traffic Safety and Signage Committee on August 2, 2021.
