🌱 City Employees To Receive Bonuses + ARP To Help Fund Fire Deps

Here are the top stories today in Bentonville:

  1. The Bentonville City Council voted unanimously to provide one-time bonuses to all city employees. Full-time and part-time workers will get $2,000 and $1,000, respectively. The bonuses in Bentonville will cost an estimated $1.4 million. The city is set to receive nearly $7 million in American Rescue Plan funds in the next two years. (KNWA)
  2. The Benton County Quorum Court approved using American Rescue Plan money to help fund Benton County fire departments. According to a news release from Benton County, some of the money will be used to pay those on staff at the Beaver Lake and Northeast Benton County fire departments. This allocation is a total of $90,000 of American Rescue Plan funds. (KNWA)
  3. Peel Museum and Botanical Garden is hosting its signature event Christmas at Peel Museum, which will feature food, music, theater and dance performances. On Dec. 3, guests 21 and up are invited to explore the decked halls of Peel Museum, enjoy food and beverages, seasonal music, theatre, and dance performances from northwest Arkansas talent.
