  1. Benton County Judge Barry Moehring announced Wednesday that county committee meetings in January will be held virtually due to the COVID-19 Omicron variant. In a memo to the 15 justices of the peace and other county officials, Moehring said that the upward trend of case counts had prompted the change. Notice for the public to attend the meetings online, including the ability to make public comments, will be provided. (Arkansas Online)
  2. Five new homes are now on the market in the Bentonville area. The new listings include a three-bedroom house on Mistletoe Avenue and a four-bedroom unit on Fieldstone Boulevard. House hunters interested in any of the new listings can view additional photos and details by visiting them online. (Bentonville Patch)
  3. The Northwest Arkansas National Airport unveiled its new logo on Wednesday. The unveiling was a collaboration between XNA, the Northwest Arkansas Council, and the advertising agency Walrus. The airport says the sleek and modern rebrand was intended to mirror the region and attract more people to the area. (KNWA)
