Grand Reopening – Old Tiger Track In City Of Bentonville

Bentonville, AR… Bentonville Parks and Recreation is pleased to extend a community invitation for the Grand Reopening of Old Tiger Track on Monday, August 2, 6:00pm. As the only public use track in the area, the new surface has designated lanes for training and competitive use. The oval track is bordered with pedestrian-level lights, extending daily usage from pre-dawn to evening. The installation of new restroom facilities provides an added bonus, along with a 10’ expansion of the trail width along NW “D” Street. Construction costs for the track renovations and enhancements totaled $585,000.

Located at 517 Tiger Boulevard, Tiger Track was originally the home of Bentonville High School’s Tiger Stadium and Track Field. Parks and Recreation acquired the property in 2010 for use as a city park. All are welcome to participate in the upcoming, ribbon-cutting event.
