Good morning, neighbors! It's me again, Sean Peek, your host of the Bentonville Daily.

First, today's weather:

Warmer. High: 63 Low: 43.

Here are the top three stories today in Bentonville:

  1. While a tornado warning was issued for Bentonville on Wednesday, the tornado only touched down in Springdale and Johnson and left behind a lot of damage. The storm destroyed the George Elementary School Gym. Those looking to help their neighbors can get involved by sharing a list of places residents can go to find resources like food or shelter; the City of Springdale is organizing volunteers to help; or, you can donate to the Red Cross or Salvation Army. All information is available at this link. (4029tv)
  2. The 2022 FreshGrass Festival headliners have officially been announced! The festival will be held May 20-21 at The Momentary celebrating bluegrass music. This year's headliners included Emmylou Harris and the Red Dirt Boys, Dispatch (Acoustic), and Amos Lee, amongst others in the lineup. Buy your tickets today! (FreshGrass.com)
  3. First Friday is back in Bentonville today, Apr. 1, for the first time this year! This year's theme is Run Bentonville. The First Friday celebration will kick off with a large block party full of food trucks, vendors, and other activities. Food trucks open at 11 a.m., vendors and activities get started at 3 p.m., and then, live music will begin on the main stage at 5 p.m. You don't want to miss this month's festivities!
