- Bentonville police arrested a man with a knife in the department's front lobby on Nov. 22. According to the Bentonville Police Department, officers responded to the front lobby of the department to reports of a man armed with a knife. Theodore Howell was found searching the lobby with a large kitchen knife. (KNWA)
- The American Rescue Plan committee, made up of the Benton County Quorum Court, moved forward with items out of the federal funds. As part of the American Rescue Plan (ARP), the Benton County Quorum Court approved using ARP funds to pay those on staff at the Beaver Lake and Northeast Benton County fire departments. - The SE 8th Street will continue to be closed between SE J Street and Moberly Lane through Friday, Dec. 17, 2021. The closure began on Monday for Utility Construction. (Press Release Desk)
