Here are the top stories in Bentonville today:

1. A Bentonville man, Mark Valentine, is in the hospital in the ICU after falling off an 18-foot ladder while decorating his house for the annual Bentonville Heart Lites Christmas display. He is now sedated and on a ventilator, with ten broken ribs, 6 double, and a collapsed lung. His wife, Crystal told 40/29 News, while he's recovering in the hospital, the community is stepping up so the Bentonville Heart Lite display show still goes on this holiday season. (4029tv)
2. Bentonville residents can expect temporary street closure on SE 4th Street, between South Main and SE A Street, on Wednesday, Nov. 17 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. The closure is due to Bentonville Public Library hosting Trike Theatre's "La Tortuga and the Hare". (Press Release Desk)
