- During its last meeting of the year on Tuesday night, the City Council approved agreements for a handful of street improvements. A bid award went to Crossland Heavy Contractors to do street infrastructure improvements that include a protected bicycle lane on Northwest Third and Southwest Eighth streets. (Arkansas Online)
- The number of Benton County children in need of Christmas presents has grown from 2,000 to now more than 3,800. Bentonville residents can donate toys until Dec. 17 at the Care Community Center in Rogers located at 2510 N. 17th St. Suite 202. (KNWA)
