- Members of the National Guard have joined a testing site in Bentonville to assist with the high demand for COVID-19 tests. David Fortner, Vice President of Operations at Mercy Northwest, said the support has enabled the hospital to "keep the service going." The site performed over 500 tests on Wednesday and now has the resources to continue at this pace. (4029tv)
- Meetings for organizations to make pitches for a piece of Benton County's American Rescue Plan money were reset after six in-person meetings scheduled for this month were canceled. During a meeting on Tuesday, the Finance Committee agreed to move the postponed meetings to February and March. So far, Benton County has received more than 60 applications for the $54 million in rescue plan money. (Arkansas Online)
- Bella Vista police have located a local man who went missing on Wednesday morning. 85-year-old Hartley Skinner had last been seen at his home on Cambria Drive in Bella Vista around 11 a.m. The Bella Vista Police Department shared in a social media post late Wednesday that Skinner had been found safe.
