1. NWA Fashion Week returned to Bentonville yesterday for the first time in person since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic. NWA Fashion Week is an annual fundraiser for INTERFORM, a nonprofit organization focusing on arts and culture based in Springdale. This year, 10 percent of the proceeds raised from NWA Fashion Week will be donated to The Transition Closet, an organization that offers free clothing to those going through a gender transition. Tickets for tonight and Saturday's shows are extremely limited and if they sell out before you get the chance to purchase them, 409tv will be live streaming the event. (4029tv)
2. Amazeum will host a community health and COVID-19 vaccination event this weekend. The event is being held as part of an effort to improve healthcare and health literacy throughout the state. The first 100 people registered will receive free admission to the Amazeum and a free lunch. For those coming from Springdale, free transportation will be provided. (KNWA)
3. Looking for a tropical escape from the winter weather? Stop by Undercroft, the bar beneath The Preacher's Son in downtown Bentonville, and visit its pop-up tiki bar, Oasis. Now through Apr. 9, enjoy tropical-inspired decor and drinks like mai tais and the tequila-based "Squeaky Clean," which comes served in a mini bathtub with a rubber duck.
