- A Bentonville police officer received a prestigious award from the United States Secret Service. Sergeant Josh Woodhams has been recognized as one of the Top Digital Forensic Examiners in the country, beating out nearly 2,800 other law enforcement officials who specialize in digital forensics. Woodhams was one of only 50 digital forensic examiners in the country to receive the award. (KNWA)
- Michelle Smith is stepping down after 15 years as Bentonville High School's volleyball coach. Smith announced the news on Wednesday, sharing that she will be leaving the Lady Tigers to focus on her family. During her tenure as coach, Smith has led the team to 388 career victories and six state titles. (Northwest Arkansas Democrat-Gazette)
- Two new Mexican restaurants are coming to downtown Bentonville. Both Bentonville Taco and Tamale Co. and Azul Tequila Bistro plan to open their doors in the coming months. Both restaurants already have several successful locations across northwest Arkansas. (Northwest Arkansas Democrat-Gazette)
