  1. The Bella Vista Police Department announced Saturday the passing of Officer Chris Cummins after a months-long battle against COVID-19. The department took to Facebook, writing "It is with heavy hearts we mourn the passing of one of our own today, and offer our deepest condolences to his family and friends. Rest in peace, Officer Cummins."Cummins had been battling the virus on a ventilator at Northwest Health in Bentonville since mid-September. (4029tv.com)
  2. Walmart and Sam's Club pharmacies are ready to administer booster shots for the Moderna and Johnson & Johnson (J&J) vaccines. The move comes after the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's announcement on Thursday that booster shots for Moderna and J&J recipients are now recommended for millions of Americans. (KNWA)
  3. The numbers of covid-19 patients in Arkansas who were hospitalized, on ventilators and in intensive care have continued to fall. However, the Bentonville School District continued to have the most active cases, with the number rising by three, to 54, from Monday to Thursday. (Camden News)
