  1. The Museum of Native American History is educating the Bentonville community on indigenous people and their sustainable practices during Earth Day weekend. Last night's event was hosted by Chef Nico Albert. Today's 4:30 p.m. event will host the author of "Earth Medicines," Felicia Cocotzin Ruiz. There will be a book signing, a food tasting, and Nopales Medicine Water Shots. Spots for this event are still open. (KNWA)
  2. The City of Bentonville is asking the public to provide feedback regarding its recent road improvement projects. The plans in question are reportedly 60 percent complete but the city wants input before deciding on the finished plan. Click the link to learn more about the projects. (KNWA)
  3. A man has been sentenced in the case of a Bentonville kidnapping. Austin Garrett, 19, has been found guilty of kidnapping, residential burglary, domestic battering, criminal mischief, and terroristic threatening in an incident that involved his then-girlfriend. The jury recommended that Garrett spend 11 years in prison and the judge agreed. (Arkansas Online)
