Here are the top 3 stories today in Bentonville:
- Bentonville School District officials have revealed plans to expand the Ignite Professional Studies program. The administration's plan is to add a full-time instructor for the 2022-23 school year, which would allow a total of 110 students to participate in health sciences. The plan will be presented to the board for approval at its next meeting on Feb. 15. (Northwest Arkansas Democrat-Gazette)
- The results of the latest restaurant inspections in Benton County were released in a report on Monday. Critical violations were discovered at multiple restaurants including Taqueria Michoacan, Bolder Coffee, and E-Z Mart Food Store. Critical violations are those factors leading to foodborne illness and must be corrected immediately. (Northwest Arkansas Democrat-Gazette)
- Bentonville rescue organizations have listed several new pets for adoption. Many adoptable cats and dogs are now available at shelters including Mew Cat Rescue, Best Friends Animal Society, and Fabulous Felines NWA. If you are unable to take care of a pet year-round, many local shelters also offer opportunities to foster pets until they are placed. (Bentonville Patch)
From our sponsor:
Last week, we told you about our new favorite non-alcoholic go-to — the refreshingly bitter drinks from our partners at Betera. They're chef-created from natural botanicals, lightly effervescent and worthy of life beyond "Dry January." We mentioned that their Ginger-Orange was excellent; we've since tried Elderflower-Lime and loved it as well — light and floral with the perfect amount of zing. We're converts.
Enough of you took Betera up on their 15% discount on first orders for Patch Daily readers that they've extended the offer for another week. Use PATCH15 at checkout. Highly recommended — try Betera here.
