  1. Bentonville Ignite is hosting a culinary competition for high school students next week. The "Battle at Brightwater" invites students to show off their baking and culinary arts skills and will award the top three competitors with prizes including scholarships, medals, and Brightwater merchandise. The event will take place from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Feb. 18 at Brightwater. (KNWA)
  2. The City of Bentonville is conducting a virtual meeting to discuss the proposed construction of a new interchange on Interstate 49 that would extend NE J Street northward approximately 1.1 miles. The public is invited to attend the event, ask questions, and provide written comments. The live presentation will be held at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 17. (Press Release Desk)
  3. The latest restaurant inspection report for Benton County was released on Monday. Several restaurants including Braum's Ice Cream, Smokin Joe's Ribhouse, and Flying fish were cited for critical violations. Critical violations are factors that lead to foodborne illness and must be corrected immediately. (Arkansas Online)

  • The Bentonville High School Golden Tamers recently competed at the 2022 National Dance Team Championship in Orlando and danced away with a 4th place finish nationwide! That's the highest any dance team from Arkansas has ever finished. (Facebook)
