- Bentonville students will join others across northwest Arkansas this week in returning to in-person classes. The return to classrooms has not been delayed even as COVID-19 cases continue to multiply. Students in Bentonville and Rogers will return to school on Wednesday, and face masks are not required by any schools in the area at this time. (4029tv.com)
- The Bentonville Police Department's bomb squad responded to help with the investigation of an improvised explosive device that was used to damage a park bench in Bella Vista over the weekend. Police did not find any damage to other structures besides the bench, and there were no injuries. Officials say they do not believe there is any reason for the public to be concerned for their safety at this time. (Arkansas Online)
- Many animal shelters in Bentonville are currently working to fulfill adoptions. There are currently several cats and dogs available for adoption at local shelters including Oakwood Tails Of Hope and the Best Friends Animal Society. Over 6 million companion animals are given to adoption agencies each year nationwide. (Bentonville Patch)
