Arcare breaks ground on future Fort Smith medical clinic and pharmacy (rivervalleydemocratgazette.com) — A new Arcare medical clinic and pharmacy is coming to 2709 Massard Road, promising expanded primary care, behavioral health, rheumatology, infusion, and pharmacy services for Fort Smith residents regardless of insurance or ability to pay. The 18,000-square-foot facility, expected to open in 2027, will relocate Fort Smith Rheumatology and TruBlu Infusion and aims to be a long-term healthcare asset for the community.
3. Fort Smith says cyber attack didn't start in police department in latest update (5newsonline.com) — Fort Smith officials now say August's cyberattack started in the city's broader network, not inside the police department as first reported. They emphasize that HR, financial, and payment systems, including PayIt Fort Smith, were not breached and no customer banking data was exposed. Investigators are still restoring systems and promise more updates as they confirm details.
