JONESBORO, AR — At Arkansas State University, finals week comes with a built-in break that students count on. Each semester, Late Night Breakfast takes place during the last week of classes, giving students a chance to step away from studying, reconnect with friends, and reset before exams begin.
For Spring 2026, Sodexo, through A-State Dining Services, brought a fresh twist to the tradition with the theme “Late Night Level Up.” Held in the Acansa Dining Hall in the student union, the event transformed the space into a retro arcade-inspired setting, complete with vintage-style décor, dynamic lighting, a live DJ, and a printable photo booth that captured the energy of the night.
Students were welcomed with classic breakfast favorites, creating a familiar and comforting experience during a high-pressure time in the semester. The combination of food, music, and atmosphere gave attendees a chance to relax, laugh, and take a break from the demands of finals preparation.
The event reflects A-State Dining Services’ ongoing effort to support students beyond daily dining operations. By creating opportunities like Late Night Breakfast, the team reinforces its focus on student well-being, offering moments that help balance academic intensity with connection and community.
Ashley McCann, a senior at Arkansas State University, shared her experience:
“I had so much fun getting to take a break from studying and getting to hang out with friends! Late night breakfast is always one of my favorite parts of the semester.”
Designed with students in mind—and meaningful to parents as well—Late Night Breakfast continues to serve as a reminder that even during the most demanding weeks of the academic year, support can come in simple, thoughtful ways: a good meal, a lively atmosphere, and time to recharge.
