Arkansas families on CES waiver waitlist push for a special legislative session (thv11.com) — Families connected to Little Rock and across Arkansas are pressing state leaders to call a special legislative session to address the long CES waiver waitlist for children with developmental disabilities. Local lawmakers like Rep. Denise Ennett say ending the waitlist could cost about $50 million despite large state reserves, while Governor Sanders' office says it's exploring ways to improve services without promising an immediate fix.
